Medium is a platform where tens of thousands of writers write and publish their articles daily. First and foremost It’s an ad-free platform. You will be able to find any kind of writings on medium. But if you want to read unlimited articles on medium then you have to take a $5 per month membership. When you are a medium member, the medium will give you access to read unlimited articles and stories daily. If you are not a member then you will be able to read only 3 articles per month.
Medium got reasons behind this. It’s because the medium shares its revenue with the writers. Isn’t it obvious? writers write to earn money and share their knowledge with the readers. And medium allowed them to earn money.
According to the medium, from the members, each month medium takes $4 for its own, and the remaining $1 breaks into 20 cents and distributes them to the writers. The process is simple and the master behind this is the medium algorithm. Whenever a member claps to the articles of any writers the medium algorithm distributes money to the writers. Again here every writer doesn’t earn money. Because if a writer wants to earn money from writing on medium then he/she needs to participate in MPP. Which you can say Medium Partner Program.
Enrolling MPP means you are enabling your earning opportunity on medium. Well, this is too easy for the people from stripe-supported countries. If you are from a stripe non supporting country then this is not for you. There is a way though. If you have any relatives abroad and they are from a stripe supported countries then using them as your representative you may have a stripe account. And, if you are an owner of a verified stripe account then you are good to go for enrolling MPP.
Anyway, let’s talk about how can we read articles on medium without being a member. It’s pretty easy but under some conditions. If you use the medium app on your smartphone then it will not work for you. Try something else hahaha.
As a medium non-member, you can read unlimited articles from your web browsers on laptop/pc/smartphones whatever it is. The condition is you need a web browser.
The first and the easiest process is using the incognito mood on your web browser. Just login into your medium account then select which article you want to read. Copy the URL of your article and open the incognito window on your browser, paste it, and search. It’s done. Opening the incognito window you can read 3 articles each time and when the 3 chances have been finished then close the window. Open a new incognito window again, you will get another 3 chances. Repeating this process you can read an unlimited number of articles in a day.
The second process is using an extension. If you use google chrome browser then you need to add an extension named Medium Hacked. This extension is pretty much useful and you don’t need to open up more windows on your browser. Just add the extension to your chrome browser, go to the article which one you wanna read. Click on the extension icon on the extension bar of your browser and hack it. The extension mainly forces you to log out from medium on that specific tab of your browser. And enable the access to read the full article as a spectator.
Using the above methods you only can read locked articles. Unlucky for you that you will not be able to clap on any articles and neither do comments.
