There are 7.9 billion people in the whole world. We all are living. Some are in the good, better, or best position and some are in the bad, worse, or worst position. We are all in need of money. So, why do we need money? Well, the way I think, money is the purchasing power. The more money you hold the more purchasing power you have. Again, people say money can’t buy happiness! It’s that fully true? So, what can bring happiness?
What do you think about happiness? When does happiness come into our life? Or, when we feel happy? Happiness is not natural or artificial. We create our own happiness in our life. When we can create it? It’s not like want to create some happiness right now and I have created it. But happiness is created by itself only when we are satisfied with our actions, decisions, and gratitude. When we are satisfied with ourselves. Only at that time, we can feel happiness. But human nature is indeed unsatisfied. The more we get the more we want. Our want never ends in our life.
Now you can say how happiness is related to money? Of course, you can’t compare everything equally but on average and in most of the cases in our day to day life money fulfills our needs. Suppose you don’t have any shoes because you can’t afford to buy them, you don’t have money. Then definitely you will not be happy when you see someone putting shoes and walking in front of you. Again if you see someone who has no legs or shoes, seeing you will surely express gratitude at least you have legs and this gratitude will make you feel happy. But this case is an exception and the exception is not an example. But you can also say there is no happiness without gratitude.
You have to think rationally. People who are in a good position in our society hold good money or you can say those who hold good money are in a good position in society. It’s vice-versa. Again those people are definitely happy when they are satisfied with what they have and express gratitude. So, money can’t buy happiness directly but it can make you satisfied by fulfilling your need. And gratitude is the main factor behind one’s happiness.
When you have money, your needs are fulfilled and can express your gratitude for what you have then you are definitely happy. Therefore money, happiness, and gratitude all are relative to each other.
